Offices
We have offices in Birmingham City Centre and Edgbaston and, wherever possible, appointments can be arranged at the office which suits you. In appropriate cases we are happy to conduct home visits. To arrange an appointment call Wendy Hall on 0121 243 3055 (City Centre office) or Hayley on 0121 243 3028 (Edgbaston office).
Our normal office hours are 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Monday - Friday. The team is primarily based at our City Centre office, to provide easy access to the Court. However, we are happy to discuss with clients arrangements for appointments at our Edgbaston Office, and we do offer home visits in appropriate circumstances.
Our offices are fully linked electronically and we encourage use of email for swift response. All fee earners also have direct telephone lines for ease of client contact.
Our Emergency telephone number is 0800 083 4472. We provide 24 hour advice and assistance in very urgent situations, for example child abduction.
Costs
We welcome private fee paying clients. However, we do also have a contract with the Legal Services Commission and will provide services using the Public Funding (Legal Aid) system where appropriate.
Our charging structure will be discussed with you in detail at the start of the case and throughout - we will be clear and straightforward with you about costs at all times. Our fee earners have varying hourly charge out rates which reflect their seniority and expertise - we will discuss with you the right level of fee earner for your matter.
Your case will have a designated senior practitioner responsible for strategy and supervision, who will be assisted by other fee earners, trainees and clerks to deal with more routine tasks.
